Policy for Cancellation of Services & Refund

The following terms and conditions apply to payments, refunds, cancellations, and legal compliance

Service Cancellations

• Clients can ask to cancel services before any work begins.
• If significant progress has already been made, charges might apply.
• We may charge for the time spent and resources used if we've already completed a significant portion of the job.
• Requests for cancellations must be sent to contact@nriplanet.in by email.

Refund Policy

• The application will be cancelled without a refund if fraudulent or altered documents are submitted by the client.
• You won't get a refund if your case is being processed, sent out, finished, or on hold.
• It takes 10 to 15 work days to see refunds in your account after we process them using the original payment method.
• Unexpected events (like holidays or natural disasters) might slow down your refund.
• If the right authority puts your application on hold because you provide incomplete or inaccurate documents or information, we'll close it right away without giving you a refund.
• The authorities might ask the client to provide extra paperwork or details to complete the process. If the client doesn't submit the required additional documents within 15 days, the application will close without a refund.
• If the client wants to restart the procedure in these cases, they'll have to pay an extra 30% service charge.
• When processing a refund for service charges, the client will bear the cost of any transaction fees, bank fees, changes in exchange rates, or administrative costs. These amounts will be taken out of the refund.

Timeframe for Refunds in case of Order Cancellation

• You get all your money back if you ask to cancel your order within a day.
• You get 85% of your money back if you ask to cancel your order in 1 to 2 days.
• You get 35% of your money back if you ask to cancel your order up to 5 days.
• You don't get any money back if you ask to cancel your order after 5 days.

Non-Refundable Charges

You can't get these charges back

• GST, bank fees for transactions, and costs for payment gateways.
• Charges for services such as government processing, university fees, municipal corporation fees, shipping, notarization, etc., when applying to the proper authorities.
• The services will stop, and we will not provide refunds if the client initiates or continues a parallel process to obtain the same document or similar services through another person or service provider.

Chargebacks and Disputes

You are subject to penalties imposed by credit card companies when you initiate a chargeback.

Delivery and Courier Liability

• NRI Planet will give you the courier tracking details.
• NRI Planet isn't responsible for lost or damaged documents due to postal errors, accidents, or natural disasters after shipping. Courier policies might apply.
• If clients ask to process documents again in these cases, they must pay the full service charge.

Legal Compliance and Actions

• By agreeing to a refund, you give up the right to file a claim via payment gateways.
• If documents are obtained but payment isn't finished, unpaid amounts may be recovered through legal means.
• Breaking this policy may lead to legal action.
• Legal action may be taken for non-payment or agreement violations, including
Ø Filing a complaint before the Credit Bureau.
Ø Filing a complaint with local authorities (e.g., Nagpur Maharashtra Police Station, India).

Issuance and Refund Clause

NRI Planet is simply a helping hand. However, because the issuing bodies, such as universities and Municipal Corporation, make the final decisions, we cannot guarantee the document's issuance or precise timelines. The entire process is predicated on the authenticity and completeness of the documents provided by the client.
